Bas-relief in natural terracotta depicting a Madonna with Child, clearly neo-Renaissance inspired. The work presents the following characteristics:

Manufacture: Cantagalli Firenze (late 19th - early 20th century).
Subject: Virgin with Child in a pointed-arch lunette.
Material: natural unglazed terracotta.
Markings on the back: Rectangular stamp "CANTAGALLI FIRENZE (ITALY)", circular logo with the rooster symbol and model number 263 incised crudely.
Dimensions: 16x16 cm.
Condition: Excellent, with no visible cracks or restorations, as shown in the attached photos.
Attached to this message I am sending photographs of the front, back and profile of the object, with particular detail of the authenticity marks.

Bassorilievo in terracotta naturale raffigurante una Madonna con Bambino, di chiara ispirazione neo-rinascimentale. L’opera presenta le seguenti caratteristiche:

Manifattura: Cantagalli Firenze (fine XIX - inizio XX secolo).
Soggetto: Vergine con Bambino in lunetta a sesto acuto.
Materiale: Terracotta naturale non invetriata.
Marcature sul retro: Timbro rettangolare "CANTAGALLI FIRENZE (ITALY)", logo circolare con il simbolo del gallo e numero di modello 263 incisi a crudo.
Dimensioni: 16x16 cm.
Stato di conservazione: Ottimo, non presenta rotture o restauri visibili, come da foto allegate.
