Description from the seller
The Art of the Art Deco Shaker – Crackle Glass & Silver-Plated WMF EPNS Cocktail Shaker, c. 1930-1940
STUNNING VINTAGE ART DECO COCKTAIL SHAKER, crafted by the prestigious German manufacturer WMF (Württembergische Metallwarenfabrik).
THE GEOMETRIC ELEGANCE OF METAL AND GLASS:
Crafted by the renowned house of WMF, this shaker combines a highly transparent glass body with a streamlined silver-plated mount and cap, perfectly embodying the timeless refinement of vintage barware.
THE ALCHEMY OF CRACKLE GLASS:
Highly fashionable during the Art Deco period and the mid-20th century, this glass is achieved through a controlled thermal shock during the blowing process. It creates an intricate network of internal micro-fissures that capture and multiply light reflections while offering a uniquely sophisticated tactile texture.
