Carl Zeiss, Contax Distagon 2.8/35mm | Wide angle lens

Thank you for your viewing.

The Carl Zeiss Distagon T* 35mm f/2.8 is a compact wide-angle lens for the Contax/Yashica system, celebrated among film photographers for the crisp rendering and rich micro-contrast that Zeiss's T* multi-coating delivers even wide open. Its six-bladed diaphragm produces the distinctive "ninja star" bokeh that has made this optic a cult favourite for decades. Manufactured in Japan under Zeiss's C/Y-mount licence, it combines classic German optical design with Kyocera/Yashica precision engineering.
