Tamron SP AF 70-200mm f/2.8 Di LD (IF) Macro A001P lens for Pentax AF mount, dating from 2000–2010, tested and in working condition with physical condition near‑new.
Description from the seller
Here's the box of a Tamron SP AF 70-200mm F/2.8 Di LD (IF) Macro, model A001P (Pentax mount version).
Type of lens: Telephoto zoom compatible with full frame (Di) with a constant aperture of f/2.8.
Focal range: 70-200 mm (roughly equivalent to about 105-300 mm on Pentax APS-C bodies).
Filter diameter: 77 mm.
Optics: LD glass (Low Dispersion) to reduce chromatic aberrations, and internal focusing (IF) preventing rotation of the front element.
Macro: Close focusing capability, with a magnification ratio of about 1:3.1 at 70 mm.
Autofocus: Uses the camera body motor (no built-in motor); therefore works with Pentax bodies equipped with AF coupling.
Warranty: The pink sticker provides a free 5-year warranty after registration. The Italian text and Polyphoto stickers indicate it was sold by Tamron's Italian distributor.
Stabilization: None. This is an older model lacking VC stabilization; you should rely on the camera body's built-in shake reduction (Pentax SR).
This lens is reputed for its sharpness and excellent value for money, especially compared to Pentax-branded options, which are more expensive. It is fairly large and heavy (about 1.1 kg).
Would you like to buy it, sell it, or check its compatibility with a specific body? I can provide information on prices, what to check on a used model, or the Pentax bodies with which it works best.
