The Sennheiser HD 598 is an open-back, full-sized headphone model released in the early 2010s. It utilizes Duofold diaphragm technology to minimize internal standing wave interference, creating a spacious and natural soundstage.
Equipped with a lightweight aluminum voice coil and a neodymium magnet system, the model delivers low distortion and a smooth, relaxed sound profile—ideal for vocals, classical music, and jazz. The ear pads feature velour upholstery to reduce pressure during extended listening sessions, while the open-back design preserves a natural, airy audio quality.
The drivers are fully functional with balanced output between the left and right channels. The velour surface of the ear pads shows slight pilling, and the housing exhibits only minor, faint scratches. The package includes the original detachable 3-meter OFC copper cable and the original box.
