A pair of hand-carved wooden eagles from France, unsigned, titled Handgesneden adelaars, measuring 11 cm wide, 28 cm high and 9 cm deep with a combined weight of 1.7 kg, dating to circa the 1950s–1960s or possibly older, featuring glass eyes and very fine detailing with some age cracks.

AI-assisted summary

Description from the seller

A couple of handcrafted eagles probably dating from the 1950s-1960s, possibly older.
Glass eyes. Very fine details.
After all these years there are a few cracks from drying (see photos); that is normal for objects of this age.

This lot has been carefully cleaned and will be carefully packaged, sent by registered mail and insured (with a Track & Trace code so you can track the shipment). Pickup in Ridderkerk, South Holland is also possible. I have delicious hand-ground coffee.
