Original animation drawing of Fauntleroy Fox
This rare animation drawing come from the production of the Bob Wickersham-Directed short Toll Bridge Troubles. Produced over 80 years ago for the Color Rhapsody series! The series featured a collection of typically one-shot animated cartoons by Screen Gems studio for Columbia Pictures, following the phenomenal success of both Disney's Silly Symphonies and Warner Brothers Merrie Melodies.
They were also named Fauntleroy Fox and Crawford S. Crow in a companion comic series called the Real Screen Comics. The sequential can be found in Toll Bridge Troubles near the 2:05 timestamp.
Rendered in graphite and colored pencil on 12 field 5-peghole animation paper, with typical handling and edge wear including minor age-related toning, and faint surface wear/staining, these pieces are in Very Good condition.
