Description from the seller
Fascinating Desert Rose in a Sculptural Crystal Formation
A stunning and rare desert rose, a natural crystalline gypsum and baryte cluster formed under unique desert conditions. This specimen is notable not only for its mineral beauty but also for its exceptionally sculptural composition and its remarkable size.
Unlike many smaller specimens, this desert rose presents as a densely populated cluster of well-formed crystalline "petals" that develop into a pyramidal or turret-like structure that seems almost architectural. The coloration is a warm sandy golden beige, uniform and natural, magnificently catching the light.
The cluster is not a single nodule but a complex, multi-directional aggregation of dozens of rose formations. Each petal is distinct and sharp, creating a rich and fascinating visual texture. The partial symmetry and vertical stacking of the main formations create an imposing central piece, a true masterpiece of nature.
Custom mounting: The specimen is firmly mounted on a metal pin and raised on a high-quality, blackened square base. This mounting not only protects the piece but also transforms it from a simple mineral specimen into a sophisticated work of art and interior design, ready for display. The dark base perfectly contrasts with the light color of the mineral.
The specimen has been carefully cleaned and preserved. The crystals are intact and the rose formations are well defined with no visible damage. The blackened base is in excellent condition. Please view the detailed photos closely, which are an integral part of the description, to appreciate the texture and details of the crystals. Studio lighting (on a blue background) has been used to clearly show the shape and color.
Note to buyers: The desert rose is a natural mineral formation and, as such, may exhibit intrinsic imperfections that are not considered defects, but rather characteristics of its geological origin.
The piece will be packed with the utmost care and attention, using mineral-specific shock-absorbing materials to ensure safe transport to the destination. The shipment will be tracked.
