Royal Leerdam - Butter dish - Kaasstolp - Stolp - Art Deco - 1939, servies Neerlandia - Glass

A special Art Deco cheese dome from 1939, designed by the glass artist Andries Dirk Copier for the Glasfabriek Leerdam / Royal Leerdam. Andries Dirk Copier was a leading figure for Glasfabriek Leerdam.
The cheese dome is part of the Neerlandia / Hollandia dinnerware: see the last photo of the catalog from 1939 (this shows the silver-green variant; cheese fork silver-green).

This cheese dome has a wonderful green color. The plate has a raised rim at both ends for a good grip.

The cheese dome is in good condition. It has a few small chips and the plate has a larger chip, see the last photos.

This cheese dome is timeless and looks beautiful on a luxuriously set table or party table. For example, think of a nicely arranged weekend table or Christmas table. Of course, this dome can also function as a decorative glass object – a collectible item.

The cheese dome is carefully packed and insured for shipping.
