Description from the seller

• Large Antique Red Copper Warmer Kettle / Tea Kettle on Stove – Full of Character

Description

3 magnificent, very old red copper water kettles complete with their burner and stand. These objects exude pure history and have a splendid, well-worn appearance.
The kettles and burner have been intensively and heavily used in the past. This has resulted in a unique and authentic character, with the color variations typical of copper, signs of wear, and a deep, warm patina that only time can create. The robust construction with the classic rivets and the sturdy handle testifies to truly old craftsmanship.
The objects have recently been carefully lightly cleaned to remove loose soot, bringing the warm red copper shine beautifully to the fore, while preserving their historic soul. The interior shows the original signs of heavy use, see limescale.
An absolute eye-catcher for antique copper lovers, perfect as a decorative piece in a country kitchen, a stately home, or as a unique collectible.
Maker’s mark: • Origin: Germany / Austria (marked with German craftsmanship).
• Period: ca. 1890 - 1910 (Historicism).
• Remark: The burner is equipped with the original regulating wheel with the inscription "AUFSTECKBRENNER", which indicates a high-quality, removable German quality burner from that era.

Style: Classic Historism / Traditional German coffee stove from the transitional period (late 19th century).

• Dimensions (H x W x D): ...32. cm x 41.... cm x .28... cm , approx
• Weight: .3 kg
Total weight of the 3 kettles: 5 kg
• Condition: In heavily used antique condition with accompanying patina and signs of use in line with age. See the photos for an accurate impression. The burner’s function has not been tested.
