Description from the seller

An elegant tabletop or mantel clock crafted in the classic 18th-century Dresden/Meissen Rococo style. The white glazed hard-paste porcelain case features a shaped, scrolling silhouette elaborately decorated with hand-painted gold leaf trim and deep cobalt blue accents. The front bezel is encrusted with finely detailed, multi-colored applied porcelain floral blossoms and roses. The white dial features black Roman numerals and a stylized inner track. The back is fitted with a modern, battery-operated quartz movement protected by a brushed brass rim and bears the original manufacturing labels, including the "Alt Meissen Art" designation.
