Beautiful old copy of the French newspaper Cœurs Vaillants, dated January 15, 1939, published before World War II.
This issue features a superb red-and-blue illustrated cover, devoted to the aeronautical adventure “Le Stratonèf H.22”, with very good preservation of the original colors.
REMARKABLE PRESENCE OF TINTIN AND MILOU
One of the main attractions of this copy is the presence of Tintin and Milou's adventure titled “The Mystery of the Gray Plane”, a work by the famous Belgian illustrator Hergé.
This publication bears witness to the diffusion of Tintin's early adventures in the French illustrated press of the 1930s, long before the character's immense international success.
The original black-and-white illustrations, accompanied by their titles printed in red, offer a very fine testimony to Tintin's graphic universe at that time.
