Description from the seller
Beautiful, iconic mid-century modern dining chair(s), model 'IK', designed by Danish designer Inger Klingenberg in around 1960 for the quality manufacturer Fristho Franeker (Netherlands).
This model ranks among the absolute highlights of Dutch-Danish modernism. The chair is highly prized for its organic and sculptural forms. The frame is made of high-quality, solid and veneered rosewood with a deep, warm wood grain. The most characteristic detail is the ergonomically shaped backrest and seat, upholstered in black [material: skai or leather], which visually seem to float above the wooden base.
A timeless design icon that fits perfectly in both vintage and modern design interiors.
