Description from the seller

When volcanoes cool, they do not merely harden - they forge. Molten rock rich in metallic minerals seeps through fissures, and as the pressure drops and the air touches it, crystals bloom across the surface in a riot of colour: electric blue, deep violet, emerald green and flashes of gold, all shimmering together like a fragment of the earth's own heat, frozen mid-cool.

This specimen is one of those rare natural formations - a volcanic fusion rock crusted with iridescent mineral crystals, unpolished and untouched. No two are ever the same, because the colours are written by the temperature, the minerals and the moment when the rock finally met the air. Each piece is a small snapshot of a volcanic landscape.

Key Selling Points

Naturally iridescent surface: electric blue, violet, emerald green and gold shimmer.

No coating, no treatment - colours formed naturally by volcanic mineralisation.

Weight: approx. 2315 g (4.6 lb)
