Description from the seller
The Scott 515 TL is a vintage analog stereo radio tuner produced by the historic company H.H. Scott in the early 1980s (about 1982–1983). This model was designed as a coordinated component to pair with the Scott 435A integrated amplifier, faithfully echoing its sober design with the brushed aluminum front panel.
Main features
• Frequency bands: Reception for AM, FM, MW, LW bands.
• Design and indicators: It features a classic linear analog tuning scale with a cursor (the LEDs light up), alongside LED indicators for signal strength and stereo reception (the LEDs do not light).
• Outputs: Standard RCA audio connection to connect to the amplifier (the cable needs to be replaced because it has been cut).
• Indicative dimensions:
Classic rack width of about 43 cm, ideal for insertion into any pre-amp/amp or Hi-Fi setup of the era.
It is a simple, reliable, no-frills device, highly appreciated by collectors and by lovers of retro sound and aesthetics of separate-component Hi-Fi systems.
