Description from the seller
Harley-Davidson - Telemania / Superfone Holland - Novelty Phone - Scale Model Heritage Softail (Fully Functional) - 1990s
Description
A highly detailed, vintage novelty landline telephone in the shape of a red Harley-Davidson Heritage Softail motorcycle. This iconic collectible was produced in the 1990s by KNG America / Telemania and concerns a rarer, official Dutch edition exclusively made for Superfone Holland.
The object is designed as a decorative scale model on a fixed black display foot, featuring the official Harley-Davidson logo. The motorcycle seat serves as the telephone handset. When the handset is lifted, the integrated keypad panel appears. The phone features a Tone/Pulse switch, a mute function, and a redial function.
Interactive features:
When receiving a call, the phone does not ring with a standard tone, but plays an authentic Harley-Davidson motorcycle rumble/claxon and the front headlamp begins to flash.
Display option (Showmodel):
The wiring is fully detachable. All cables (both the coiled handset cable and the line and power cables) can be easily disconnected via the click system. This allows the object to be used as a sleek, realistic scale model with no visible wires for display in a glass cabinet or on a desk.
Unique Superfone Holland edition with official type approval from the Ministry of Transport and Water Management. Fully functional tested (including rumbling engine sound and flashing headlamp). Cables are fully detachable, making the object perfect as a sleek show model without wires. Totally cool and 100% complete.
