Steam engine - Märklin - Brass - 1930-1940 - No. 4097/7

Märklin Steam Engine No. 4097/7 - Germany

A beautiful and big steam engine from Märklin in exceptionally good condition. Often you see the smaller version no. 6 or 5, but this is a bit bigger. The model features a polished brass boiler, steam valve, weighted safety valve, steam whistle, pressure gauge, water gauge, and a burner.

The steam engine comes with the original accessories for this model. The hatch handle shows wear at the hinge but remains intact—see photo.

The steam engine is in excellent working order. It bears the Märklin trademark and the number "7" on the hatch.

See photos for the general condition of the steam engine. They are a main part of the description.
