AI-assisted summary
Description from the seller
Up for auction: a classic and sturdy 35mm SLR from the pre-war and post-war era—the Pentacon FB, produced in Germany (GDR) at the historic Dresden plants starting from the late 1950s.
The lot is presented in good overall condition, functional, and complete with its lens cap.
Optics. The original Carl Zeiss Jena Tessar 50mm f/2.8 lens appears clean, free of scratches or traces of internal mold and fungi.
Mechanical. The lot has been tested and is functioning.
Aesthetics. Good overall condition, as clearly documented by the photographs. The solid metal chassis with chrome finishes preserves a good visual impact, displaying its original finish, free of structural dings, showing the classic and normal signs of time and superficial wear on the black covering skin, entirely typical for the piece’s age.
Tracked international shipping, fully insured and with professionally super-protective packaging to ensure maximum safety during transport.
