Description from the seller
Refined and imposing wall-mounted decorative art piece in metal, entirely handmade by the famous Studio Del Campo (Turin), dated 1977.
The sculpture develops vertically with an organic and blazing design, culminating in a large sunflower in relief. The heart of the flower is masterfully decorated with high-fired enamel hemispheres in warm amber, yellow, and orange tones, a technique of excellence that made the Turin workshop famous worldwide and sought after by the great designers of the twentieth century such as Gio Ponti.
The back of the work features the original heavy metal wall-mount hook and bears incised markings that attest to its absolute authenticity: the collective signature "del campo" the year of creation "77" and the inscription "ITALY". || 1977 represents a dating of great historical value, as it coincides with the end of the first historic twenty-year period of collective activity (1957-1977) of the studio.
