Description from the seller
Elegant lot composed of a Michel Caugant faience terrine in the shape of a duck, accompanied by a rectangular dish with a Mediterranean-inspired decor.
The terrine features beautiful nuances of olive green, glossy black, and ochre, with the expressive modeling characteristic of Michel Caugant's creations. The dish, adorned with foliage and tiny berries, harmoniously completes the ensemble.
The dish, crafted and decorated by hand in an artisanal spirit, stands out for its unique character and its light variations, which add all its charm.
An elegant and characterful decorative lot, ideal for lovers of French ceramics and charming objects.
Note: the beak was chipped and then neatly reglued; this does not affect the terrine’s use in any way.
Terrine dimensions: length 25 cm, height 14.5 cm, and width 11.5 cm. Dish dimensions: length 17.5 cm and width 11 cm.
Fast, careful shipping, home delivery.
