This lovely carboniferous plant fossil matrix shows beautiful Annularia sphenophylloides leaves. Very rare, large number of leaves!

The stone was found by myself in 2022 in the region of the district Saarland in Germany. Found in rest material that came out of the former coal mines in this region. The fossil is between 309 and 302 million years old.
