AI-assisted summary

Description from the seller

Young Male Roe Deer Taxidermy (Capreolus capreolus) - On a Wooden Shield Plaque - Summer Coat

Splendid taxidermy specimen of a young male roe deer (Capreolus capreolus), mounted on a classic dark wood shield plaque, ready to be hung.
The piece stands out for its excellent craftsmanship: the gaze is rendered extremely naturally thanks to well-symmetrical glass eyes and meticulous finishing of the eyelids. The fur presents its typical summer coat, characterized by short, dense hair and a beautiful fulvous-reddish coloration. The trophy (pedestal) is that of a young specimen, with straight front tines and lightly forked points.
An ideal object for natural history collecting as well as a design element for rustic decor or Wunderkammer.
