Description from the seller
The Denon DMD-1000 is a high-quality, stationary MiniDisc recorder produced by Japanese audio brand Denon between 1998 and 2002. In the heyday of the MiniDisc, this model was known as a solid mid-range (original new price approximately 500 € / 1,000 DM), appreciated for its excellent build quality and audiophile components.
Key Features & Specifications
Advanced Audio Converters: The device features Denon's well-known Advanced Super Linear Converter (ASLC) D/A converter and a 20-bit Delta Sigma A/D converter. This ensures a very accurate sound reproduction and a warm, clear sound.
Sampling Rate Converter: Built-in to effortlessly convert digital signals of 32 kHz (e.g. DAT or satellite) and 48 kHz to the standard 44.1 kHz of MiniDisc.
Robust design: With a metal front panel and a weight of 6.4 kg, it is a very stable and durable deck.
Memory Rec (Time Machine): Allows the recorder to record up to 6 seconds in advance from the buffer memory, so you never miss the start of a radio track.

Standalone D/A Converter: The DMD-1000 can also be used purely as a separate digital-to-analog converter (DAC) to allow other digital sources to sound through the high-quality internal chips.

Outputs: 1x Optical digital, 1x Analog (RCA/Cinch), and an adjustable 6.3 mm headphone jack.
