AI-assisted summary

Description from the seller

Beautiful German silver vase.
Fully inspected: mark of a screw press, fineness 830, moon and crown, and finally the number: 5216
The German silver mark with a press (specifically a screw press) is the master mark of the well-known German silver manufacturer Wilkens & Söhne from Bremen.
Since around 1886 this company has used an image of a screw press as their factory or master mark.
This piece from Wilkens & Söhne was made after 1888; from that time the press logo almost always appears in combination with the legal German imperial marks:
1. The Crescent Moon and Crown (Halbmond und Reichskrone): the national hallmark of the German Empire.
2. The fineness number: 830
3. The master mark: The image of Wilkens & Söhne’s screw press.

The vase is in good used condition with appropriate signs of age.

Height approx. 18 cm
Diameter of base and top approx. 7 cm
Gross weight: 166 grams

Well packed, shipped with track & trace
