GIESLER (Avize) / ARGIT (Paris) - Champagne cooler - Silver-plated or nickel-plated

Beautiful vintage Champagne cooler made for the house GIESLER & Co. in Avize, France.

This cooler is equipped with an embossed plaque in the shape of a shield, bearing the inscription
"CHAMPAGNE GIESLER & Co. Avize" and is also equipped with the anchor logo.

On both sides, richly decorated handles in the shape of grape clusters.

This characterful cooler is in exceptionally good condition, hardly used (see photos)

The bottom bears a stamp placed by the maker: ARGIT, Made in France.
ARGIT is an authority in the champagne cooler field and supplies to almost all major houses.

Original honest oldie from the 1950s, with character, experience and age.

Hardly found at all, very rare, making it a true collector’s item.
A particularly charming specimen, in excellent condition.

The cooler is still perfectly usable.
