The Marantz EQ551 is a high-quality vintage stereo graphic equalizer and spectrum analyzer from Marantz, introduced in the mid-1980s. Made in Japan, it combines precise 10-band equalization with a built-in spectrum analyzer, allowing you to both adjust and visually monitor the tonal balance of your audio system.

The EQ551 provides independent equalization for the left and right channels across ten carefully selected frequency bands, ranging from 31.5 Hz to 16 kHz. Each band offers up to ±10 dB of adjustment, giving the user extensive control over bass, midrange, and treble.

A particularly interesting feature is the integrated 11-bar spectrum analyzer, which provides a real-time visual representation of the frequency distribution of the music. The unit can also be used with the supplied EM551 measurement microphone for acoustic measurements and room correction.

To deliver this product properly, it is carefully packed in very strong boxes, thereby wrapped in bubble wrap with lots of padding.
