Vintage IKEA PLAGG children’s coat rack, designed by Swedish designer Tord Björklund and introduced in 1989. A distinctive postmodern design composed of lacquered metal tubes in red, yellow and blue, with black plastic end caps. Its playful use of primary colours is characteristic of IKEA’s late-1980s design and is often associated with the Memphis aesthetic.
