Description from the seller
Targetti Sankey — Pendant chandelier, sphere of artistic glass "pulegoso" — 1970s
Splendid vintage chandelier signed Targetti Sankey, an authentic expression of Italian design from the 1970s. The spherical shade in hand-worked artistic glass with the characteristic bubbled surface ("pulegoso"), suspended from a minimalist chrome stem, creates a refined and timeless lighting effect — glass attributed to the Murano/Seguso glassmaking tradition.
Key features:
Production period: 1970-1979
Style: Italian
Material: blown artistic glass "pulegoso" (transparent, bubbled effect)
Dimensions: height 65 cm, diameter 30 cm
Condition: excellent condition - Original label "Targetti Sankey — Made in Italy" and sticker "Vetro Artistico Lavorato a Mano" still present. Original wiring fully functional.
Shipping with customized packaging to minimize risk during transit. In-person pickup available (Lecce).
Note: attribution of the glasswork to the Murano/Seguso tradition based on stylistic analogies; Seguso label is not present. Indicative valuation, not a professional appraisal.
