Engine presents Italian Organic Gin 01, an organic 42% vol gin produced in Alta Langa, Italy, in a 700 ml can-shaped bottle, with a lot of 3 bottles.
Description from the seller
Gin Engine is a 100% organic Italian distillate produced in Alta Langa, famous for its can-shaped packaging of engine oil and inspired by the traditional Piedmontese rosoli based on sage and lemon.
Origin and Production
Origin: Artisanally produced in Alta Langa, on the border between Piedmont and Liguria.
Creator: Born from an idea of the entrepreneur Paolo della Mora, combining the passion for alcohol with that for the motor world.
Method: It is a cold compound gin distilled under vacuum at very low temperatures using a rotating evaporator, to better preserve the aromatic components.
Alcohol content: 42% vol.
Ingredients and Botanicals
All ingredients are organic and of Italian origin:
Juniper: Tuscan, the inevitable base of every gin.
Sage: Ligurian (or Alta Langa), which gives a strong herbaceous timbre.
Lemon: From Sorrento or the Amalfi Coast, for a citrus and fresh note.
Liqueur: Calabrian, to round op with sweet nuances.
Damascena Rose: For a floral background touch.
Water: Alpine spring.
Aromatic and Taste Profile
On the nose: Intense and aromatic, dominated by notes of juniper, lemon freshness and a strong scent of sage.
On the palate: Dry, firm and persistent, with a perfect balance between the saurness of citrus fruits, the balsamicity of sage and the softness of liquorice.
Packaging
Design: The bottle is a characteristic 50 cl metal can that recalls the fuel and oil cans for competition engines of the 80s.
