Description
The Canon AE-1 is the camera that made automatic exposure ordinary. Released in 1976, it was the first SLR built around a microprocessor, and Canon sold it in numbers no other SLR of the era came close to, which is why it is still the camera most people picture when they think of a 1970s film SLR. This is the silver body, the finish it is best known for. It offers shutter priority automatic exposure and full manual, and the shutter release has the light, positive feel the A series is remembered for. It comes here with the Canon New FD 28mm f/2.8, a compact wide-angle prime.
