Artihove - Figurine - de denker op de trap - marble, bronze alloy

The selected object is the well-known bronzed sculpture "The Thinking Man" (also known as "The Thinker" or "Overview"), designed by the Dutch artist Corry Ammerlaan-van Niekerk.
The figure shows a stylized human form that, in deep contemplation, sits atop a ladder. The underlying symbolism stands for "thinking at a high level" and maintaining a good overview in order to creatively find solutions or new perspectives. This specific specimen with eight steps on a low marble pedestal pertains to the original, rarer variant of the artwork.
