Description
Important and fascinating Fraraccio Sfilato, made in the early 2000s by the historic Frosolone blade shop, an authentic symbol of Molisan artisanal tradition.
With its total length of 19 cm, this specimen belongs to the category of medium-sized working knives that for generations accompanied the daily life of breeders, farmers, and shepherds of the Apennines between Molise and Abruzzo. A model that over the years has become a reference for enthusiasts of traditional Italian cutlery.
The knife features an elegant glossy black ABS handle, resistant and functional, enhanced by polished metal fittings and the classic terminal ring typical of many regional knives of Central-Southern Italy.
The long 8 cm blade is made of 420 INOX steel, a material appreciated for its robustness, corrosion resistance, and ease of maintenance. The distinctive tapered shape of the Sfilato enhances its elegance and represents one of the most iconic lines of Fraraccio production.
For decades this type of knife has been daily carried in the fields and pastures of the central Apennines, becoming an indispensable tool for rural work and a distinguishing element of the local peasant culture.
