Vintage Sciolari lamp / light sculpture for S.A. Boulanger – Belgium, 1970s
A special and decorative vintage lamp, designed by Gaetano Sciolari for S.A. Boulanger. This striking design from the 1970s consists of several chromed steel tubes of different heights, placed on a round mirrored base.
The combination of the different heights, the shiny chrome, and the visible light sources gives the lamp a pronounced sculptural character. Even when the lamp is not lit, it is a beautiful decorative object that is typical of the space-age and modernist design of the 70s.
The lamp is made of chromed steel and has small E14 lampholders. The chrome shows an authentic vintage patina and signs of use appropriate to its age, as visible in the photos. These are part of the character of the object.
