Description from the seller
Description;
The Kenwood DPC-X311 is a vintage portable CD player (Discman) released by the Japanese brand Kenwood around the year 2000. The device was popular at the time for its compact size, reliable anti-shock system, and energy-efficient performance.
Condition: New with original box and all manuals + Original adapter. Plays perfectly via the adapter and on batteries. Rare condition! So ideal for home use and to connect to speakers and, of course, for on the go on batteries.
Key specifications and features;
• Anti-Skip Protection: Equipped with an electronic anti-shocks system to minimize hiccups during walking or movement.
• Battery life: Operates on 2 AA batteries. If combined with an optional external battery holder (for a total of 4 batteries), playback time could reach up to 25 to 27 hours. Compatible Kenwood batteries could also be charged directly in the device.
• Connectors: Features a adjustable headphone output (9mW) and a fixed Line Out output (0.6V) to easily connect the player to an amp or car stereo.
• Sound and features: Equipped with a Digital Bass Boost circuit for extra low frequencies. Additionally, the player has features such as Random Play, a repeat function, a 24-title programmable memory, and a convenient Hold switch to prevent unintentional button presses.
• Dimensions & Weight: Approximately 150 x 28 x 137 mm and a weight of about 240-251 grams (without batteries).
The DPC-X311 was released at the time in several color variants, including silver (DPC-X311-S), blue (DPC-X311-L), and yellow (DPC-X311-Y). Today it is a sought-after model among vintage audio enthusiasts from the millennium era.
