Designed by Anna Weber for favius, GLASGOW Large is a crystal glass vase from Germany (Bayerischer Wald), produced 2010–2020, 24 cm wide and 24 cm deep, 45 cm high, weighing 4.5 kg, in white and transparent, model GLASGOW Large, in like-new condition.
Description from the seller
The designer Anna Weber drew inspiration for the GLASGOW vase from the mood of a foggy landscape. Just as fog, GLASGOW cloaks its contents in diffuse haze. Each vase is traditionally mouth-blown into a turned beechwood form in one of the oldest glass manufactories in the Bavarian Forest. This craft, paired with the use of two glass colors, creates a unique color gradient and makes every piece a one-of-a-kind object. Small bubbles and irregularities are a typical quality feature.
NOTE: You will receive the vase shown in images 6-10; the blue plastic strip is only to illustrate the gradient. Mouth-blown glass is produced in a very traditional manufacturing process. Slight variations in wall thickness, differences in weight, size or color gradient, as well as small bubbles and varying textures are a quality feature and make each product unique.
