AI-assisted summary
Description from the seller
A beautiful and substantial antique samovar with an elegant traditional form, decorative handles and a robust construction.
Based on my experience and comparison with other samovars, I strongly believe this piece is of Russian origin. Its considerable weight suggests that unusually thick metal was used in its construction, distinguishing it from many samovars produced in other countries.
The combination of its substantial construction, attractive proportions and decorative details makes this a particularly appealing example.
However, the final identification of its origin and period is left to Catawiki's experts.
Please examine all photographs carefully, as they form an important part of the description.
