Description from the seller
They are two large modernist brass candelabra from the first half of the 20th century, showing that stylized, fluid, and elegant language that defined the most refined branch of decorative modernism. Their presence is bold, yet not heavy: the golden metal, worked with clean lines and soft curves, creates a vertical silhouette that opens into an almost organic gesture.
The six arms, long and streamlined, unfold with a harmony very characteristic of the era. They do not seek Baroque exuberance or classical rigidity: they arch naturally, like metal stems that rise and separate with a serene rhythm. Each arm ends in its candle holder, forming a luminous crown that, when lit, should have offered a warm play of light on the golden brass.
The central body, firm and well-proportioned, supports the structure with balance. The brass finish — warm, slightly aged, with that deep shine that only metals worked with quality achieve — reinforces the sense of a noble piece, intended for elegant interiors, modernist salons, or contemporary spaces that seek a historic accent without veering into excessive ornamentation.
As a whole, they are candelabra that combine visual lightness, craftsmanship, and presence, perfect for those who appreciate modernism in its most sober and refined version.
Certified shipping and careful packaging.
