Very large Neolithic axe with a nicely finished edge made from flint/agate with a beautiful patina and color.
These objects were made in the Sahara Neolithic (Tenerean) by craftsmen who also made arrowheads from the same material.
Agate is exceptionally hard and efficient as a tool.
No restorations, in very good condition.
Dimensions 149 x 61 mm
Each sold lot will be supplied with an authenticity certificate
