The Barolo "Cuvée Marcenasco" 2019 from the Renato Ratti estate is an exceptional red wine produced in the heart of the Barolo appellation, in Piedmont, Italy. Made exclusively from the Nebbiolo grape, this wine embodies all the elegance and complexity one rightly expects from this prestigious wine region. The 2019 vintage benefited from favorable climate conditions, allowing slow ripening of the grapes, which translates into fine tannins and a rich aromatic profile. The wine comes from vineyards located on terroirs with clay-limestone soils, known for their ability to produce powerful and structured wines. Vinification is carried out with care, respecting traditional methods, but also with a modern influence to perfect the balance and finesse of the nectar.

This wine is very refined and harmonious, with tannins present but integrated. Aromas of flowers, strawberry and dried orange, as well as notes of candied strawberry and watermelon, are detectable. It slightly lacks in body on the palate, but overall it is well balanced. To be enjoyed after 2026.
