Description from the seller
BRAZIL. 2000 Reis. 1924.
- Value: 2000 Reis.
- Year: 1924.
- Inscriptions: Obverse: Allegorical bust of the Republic surrounded by stars, no inscription. Reverse: ESTADOS UNIDOS DO BRAZIL · 2000 REIS · 1924.
- Grade: MS65 (NGC).
Silver coin of 2000 Reis with allegorical bust of the Republic facing right, executed in a classical style of soft lines and surrounded by a ring of stars symbolizing the states of the Brazilian federation. The reverse presents the face value within a crown of branches, surrounded by the national legend and the date of issue. This specimen retains an excellent original mint lustre, sharp relief, and clean fields, with minimal surface marks in keeping with the MS65 grade. Issued during the era of the First Brazilian Republic, it represents one of the most characteristic silver denominations in the country’s monetary system in the early decades of the 20th century.
Disclaimer: For orders shipped outside the European Union, I want to make absolutely clear that I do ship from Spain, which means that if the package is sent to any country outside the European Union, and/or inside the EU that has a special tax agreement (example: Canary Islands), it might be stopped in your local customs and they might ask you to pay taxes. This is a customs/legal procedure and it is completely out of our control. Thanks for your understanding.
