HISTORY/GENERAL DESCRIPTION:
BMW M5 from the E39 generation, first presented in 1998 at the Geneva Motor Show, is considered one of the most outstanding sport sedans of the turn of the century. The presented example is from 1999 and was imported from Switzerland in December 2016. The vehicle has been in the current owner’s hands for about 10 years. The current odometer reading is 202,210 km.
BODYWORK/PAINT:
The body is finished in blue paint (Avus Blue / Le Mans Blue). The body condition requires local bodywork repairs. The front headlights have undergone professional restoration. A new set of rear lights in factory packaging is included with the car. The original alloy wheels have been comprehensively renovated and equipped with new tires on both the front and rear axles.
INTERIOR:
The interior is finished in light cream leather with noble wood inlays on the center console and doors. The cabin is equipped with sport electrically adjustable front seats, leather-wrapped steering wheel, rear sunblind, and climate/temperature control panel. The upholstery of the front seats and the rear bench remains in preserved condition.
MECHANICS:
The car is in very good technical condition. A wide range of servicing work has recently been carried out, including: installation of new shock absorbers and suspension springs (front and rear), new timing chain and guides, new rollers and tensioners, driveshaft and rear differential seals, replacement of all engine mounts, installation of a new air conditioning compressor, replacement of complete control arm bushings (including rear), installation of Zimmermann brake discs with EBC Yellow Stuff pads, new dual-mass flywheel, and restoration of wheels with new tires.

The car comes with full service history and documentation and invoices confirming mechanical repairs totaling no less than €15,000.
