Description from the seller

Exquisite Antique Art Nouveau Solid Silver Wax Seal Stamp with Monogram
A charming and elegant antique wax seal stamp, finely crafted during the late 19th to early 20th century (circa 1890–1910). The handle features a graceful and organic Art Nouveau floral motif, adorned with delicate embossed flowers and cascading vines characteristic of the Jugendstil / Art Nouveau period.
The matrix (base) is deeply engraved with a sophisticated, intertwined cursive monogram (initials reading "J.P." or similar stylized Victorian/Edwardian calligraphy), which produces a crisp and clear impression in sealing wax. This piece was traditionally used by nobility or the upper bourgeoisie for personal correspondence, sealing official letters, and documents.
Date: Late 19th / Early 20th Century (c. 1890–1910)
Origin: European (Continental / France or UK)
Composition: Solid Silver (tested/hallmarked with traditional assay stamps visible near the collar)
Motif / Design: Art Nouveau Floral & Leafy Tendrils with an Intertwined Monogram Matrix
