Description from the seller
The Marantz 5025 is a brilliant representative of the iconic 5000 series, produced by Marantz Superscope from 1977 to 1979.
This tape deck catches the eye with its sleek design and delights the ears with impressive performance, making it still a favorite among audiophiles and vintage electronics enthusiasts. In addition, the player features peak level indicator LEDs that provide real-time monitoring of audio peaks, perfect for those who demand precision. Separate controls for microphone and line inputs, along with a master level control, offer a more refined sound customization.
This model, over 45 years old, still delivers impressive sound quality.
The frequency response ranges from 40 Hz to 15.5 kHz on CrO2 tape and from 40 Hz to 17 kHz on FeCr tape.
With a signal-to-noise ratio of 58 dB and minimized wow and flutter to 0.11%, the 5025 ensures the listening experience as clean and pleasant as possible.
This deck in my collection shows cosmetic damage visible in the photos (after all it’s almost 50 years old) that in no way affects its operation and has been fully serviced by an old-school technician
ATTENTION: I only ship to the EU and do not accept returns.
Suitable for someone who wants to restore and clean to have a device worthy of a good living room.
