Description from the seller
Beautiful and working vintage VHF/UHF radio receiver (scanner). Produced in the 1980s in Japan and marketed in the Netherlands by the Rotterdam-based brand Atron.
The device is a classic "computer scanner" from the early generation, in which you no longer had to swap crystals to receive channels. Enthusiasts sometimes modify this type of scanner with a so-called discriminator output (via the TA7130 FM-IC) to decode data traffic (such as POCSAG/P2000 or APRS).
• Frequency range: Covers several bands such as 60–89 MHz, 108–138 MHz, 140–179 MHz and 380–519 MHz.
• Channels: Has 70 programmable RAM channels (with two AA batteries as memory backup).
• Modulation and tuning: Supports AM and FM modulation with steps of 12.5 kHz.
• Additional features: Includes a built-in clock and a tape-out connector.
• Power supply and dimensions: Can operate from 220V mains or 13.2 VDC, weighs about 3.1 kg and measures 270 x 95 x 230 mm
