Description from the seller
The last circulating series of Pope Francis’ pontificate, produced shortly before his passing, holds extraordinary symbolic value. This collection, unlike any other, takes on a highly commemorative significance: it is a tangible tribute to His memory, meant to endure over time. The series comprises 8 denominations (2 and 1 Euro, 50, 20, 10, 5, 2, 1 Euro-cent) featuring on the reverse the standard technical characteristics, identical for all the countries participating in the single European currency. On the obverse of all the coins is depicted the Coat of Arms of Pope Francis, the inscription "Città del Vaticano" and twelve stars. Engravers: U. Pernazza (1 Eurocent) - M.A. Cassol (2 Eurocent) - L. De Simoni (5 Eurocent) - M.G. Urbani (10 Eurocent) - S. Petrassi (20 Eurocent) - E.L. Frapiccini (50 Eurocent) - M.C. Colaneri (1 Euro) - C.
