Description from the seller
YASHICA Electro 35 GSN, tested and working.
Hello from Japan!
We provide high-quality cameras and lenses to the world.
The Yashica Electro 35 GSN (1973) is the final and most refined version of Yashica's hugely successful Electro 35 series, the camera that popularised aperture-priority automatic exposure. Its electronically controlled Copal shutter runs steplessly from 30 seconds to 1/500 s, and the fast Color-Yashinon DX 45mm f/1.7 lens makes it a superb available-light camera. The GSN added a hot shoe and the chrome finish to the GS; the 'Electro' line sold in the millions and remains a favourite among film shooters today.
Condition: Used — Excellent
Pre-owned, moderate signs of use, optics clear
Serial Number
Please check the photo.
Appearance
Scuffs and scratches from normal use. Please check the photos for details.
Optical Condition
Lens: Clear, no haze, fungus or scratches
Rangefinder: Clear double image
Viewfinder: Cleaned inside
Functional
Meter and electronic shutter work.
Exposure runs about 1 stop over.
Light seals replaced; viewfinder and lens cleaned inside.
Measured Performance
We check these cameras on a shutter tester rather than by ear, and we publish what we measured:
- Light meter accuracy — EV12: 0.9 OVER / EV15: 1.3 OVER
Negative film has enough latitude to absorb deviations of this size, but the figures are here so you can judge for yourself.

- Light seals (foam) replaced
- Viewfinder cleaned internally
- Lens cleaned internally

Lens cap included. Only what you can see in the pictures will be included in the package.
