Description from the seller

Christ Pantocrator at the top and four standing saints in the lower register. The golden background and the nimbuses correspond to the tradition of Byzantine and Russian icons.
1. Christ Pantocrator
At the top, Jesus Christ is depicted frontally, with a golden nimbus, dressed in a reddish tunic and a dark mantle. He holds the opened Gospel in his left hand and blesses with his right.
The Greek letters or abbreviations beside his head correspond to the traditional inscription of Christ. The open book contains text in ecclesiastical Church Slavonic.
2. The four saints
The four figures below are depicted standing, with nimbuses and garments of different colors.
- First saint, on the left: wears reddish garments and has a cross over the chest.
- Second saint: stands out for his militaristic-looking attire, with a decorated tunic, red cloak, and boots.
- Third saint: wears a long tunic and a reddish mantle.
- Fourth saint, on the right: wears reddish garments and seems to be holding a cross or an elongated attribute.
On the left side there is also a small figure of a saint, probably belonging to a scene or to a secondary composition.
A certificate is issued.
