Description from the seller
Vintage Space Age Graphic Wall Clock – Juwelier Hörl Augsburg (1970s Prototype)
A striking vintage wall clock from the display collection of Juwelier Hörl, Augsburg, Germany. This distinctive Mid-Century Modern design combines a vibrant turquoise-blue dial with a brushed metallic frame and contrasting gold-tone hour markers.
The rectangular dial is protected by a glass cover and features minimalist white hands, a red seconds hand and raised square hour markers. The decorative metallic top and bottom bars, mounted separately from the main clock case, create an elegant architectural silhouette.
The combination of turquoise, silver and gold tones gives this clock a distinctive 1970s character, making it a real eye-catcher for a Mid-Century Modern interior, vintage office or collector's wall.
Originally bearing its Juwelier Hörl collection label on the reverse, this clock is part of the distinctive world of jewellers' shop-display objects. Such display pieces were designed to attract attention through their form, materials and visual impact, rather than serving solely as functional timepieces.
