Hand-Made Antique - Art-Deco c. 1920-1930 "Sunny Design" - Evening bag

Taffeta bag with beaded design of long golden coloured beads shaped in the form of sun rays, with a center panel, surround and carrying cord of small pearls worked in intricate designs. At the time that the bag was made, it would have been used as a decorative item to contain small, personal items during an evening out. The bag is in excellent condition with practically no bead loss. On the third photo can be seen that a neat repair has been carried out to secure a few of the long beads in the top left-hand corner (not unusual with a fragile item of this age).

This beautiful bag in true Art-Deco style, will be a colourful addition to a bag or Art-Deco collection.,
