Earthenware Art Nouveau majolica plate by Gebrüder Schütz, Czechia, dating 1900–1910, diameter 25.5 cm, height 3.5 cm, with raised floral motifs and a pink rose border; good condition with a small flea bite on the back rim.
Description from the seller
An antique Art Nouveau majolica plate from the renowned Moravian pottery manufacturer Schütz Blansko (produced in Olomučany), dating back to the late 19th or early 20th century. Stunning raised relief featuring traditional Art Nouveau motifs—flower baskets, wreaths, and ribbon garlands with a soft pink rose border.
Very good antique condition. There is a small, minor flea bite/chip on the back rim (next to the hole used to hang the plate on the wall), which is barely visible from the front and does not detract from its display value.
This is a wonderful addition for collectors of European Art Nouveau ceramics or Austrian-Hungarian Empire pottery.
